Baldock Town will open their SSML Division One campaign with the visit of Hillingdon Borough to Roker Park on Saturday 8th August.

The Reds, who will be playing at Stotfold FC this season and under the new management of Luke Gregson, will be hoping to make a winning start against opposition who were relegated from the Premier Division last term.

It will also be the first time the two clubs have locked horns since our reformation in 2003. Hillingdon are one of five new opponents that Town will face in the league over the coming campaign.

Joining Hillingdon from the Premier Division will be Ampthill Town, whilst Brimsdown and New Bradwell St Peter come into Division One following their promotion from Division Two and Broadfields United, who will groundshare at Harefield United FC, arrive from the Middlesex County League.

Woodford Town are also a new name, but this is simply a name change after competing as Bush Hill Rangers last term. Luke Gregson's side will travel to the Goldsdown Stadium to take on Woodford in the first midweek action of the new season w/c 10th August.

Division One has one less than the 21 teams of last season after Welwyn Garden City, FC Broxbourne Borough and Bedford were all promoted to the Premier Division, whilst Amersham Town and Stony Stratford Town were relegated to Division Two, the latter for ground grading issues.

SSML Challenge Trophy draw

The Reds have been handed a tough draw in the opening round of the SSML Challenge Trophy where they will travel to Premier Division Hoddesdon Town.

The Lowfield-club will be managed by former St Margaretsbury boss Gavin Kelsey in the coming season, whose side beat us 4-0 in last season's Quarter-Final en route to the Final before going down on penalties to Kings Langley. Victors in the tie will travel to Harefield United in Round Two.

Division One Cup draw

The Reds have been handed a home draw in the Division One Cup. Wodson Park will visit Roker Park. Town will be hoping to progress after a 3-0 home defeat to Bedford at the same stage last season.

The victors in this tie will entertain Southall in Round Two.

FA Cup and FA Vase draw

The draws for the early rounds of the FA Cup and FA Vase will be released on Friday 3rd July and the Club face a nervous wait to see if their application has been successful with only the top four sides in Step 6 from the previous season guaranteed a place.
